Contribution from Go&Dev
Problem :
As part of its international expansion, particularly in Morocco, Showroomprivé faced major logistical challenges. The company needed to ensure precise traceability of its international orders, while maintaining its level of operational excellence. The growing complexity of logistical operations called for automation of parcel validation processes and optimization of item placement on the e-commerce platform. The main challenge was to develop a high-performance mobile solution enabling field teams to manage logistics operations efficiently, while guaranteeing customer satisfaction despite the significant increase in order volumes.
Selection criteria :
The selection of Go&Dev was based on several decisive factors. The company’s technical expertise in Android mobile development, coupled with in-depth mastery of Java/Spring backend technologies, was a major asset. Significant experience in the development of logistics applications and expertise in QA testing also weighed in the balance. The Agile Scrum methodology proposed was perfectly aligned with the project’s need for adaptability and responsiveness. In addition, the ability to rapidly mobilize a team of dedicated experts, combining mobile developers and QA specialists, demonstrated Go&Dev’s ability to meet the project’s requirements.
Solution:
Go&Dev’s solution was based on an intuitive, high-performance Android mobile application. This solution enables logistics operators to scan package QR codes and instantly validate orders, all synchronized with the central system. The backend architecture, built on Java EE and Spring-Boot, ensures fluid, secure communication between the mobile application and the servers via RESTful APIs, while integrating seamlessly with Showroomprivé’s existing systems.
Particular emphasis has been placed on quality assurance, with the implementation of automated testing via the Robot Framework. This approach guarantees the reliability of business processes and the stability of the application through continuous integration testing and rigorous performance testing. Security has not been neglected, with the implementation of Spring-Security for authentication, encryption of sensitive data and fine-tuned management of access rights.
This global solution developed by Go&Dev enabled Showroomprivé to realize its ambitions for international expansion, while optimizing its logistics processes. The combination of cutting-edge technical expertise, a proven methodology and a quality-focused approach ensured the project’s success within the allotted timeframe.
